Quick, fun tile game
This is a tile based game for two players where most of the tiles played have special abilities. For the basic game, you start off with a single tile, a land. Then, each turned players put down tiles, and they compare the number of the tile to its neighboring tiles. If the number on the newly played tile is higher, you are allowed to flip your opponents tile. The game is one by accumulating the most tiles of your color. There are several things that I like about this game. First of all, it has a reasonable ending time. You are restricted to a 5X5 size tiled board. Also, you shuffle the tiles and draw; so, no two games are going to play exactly alike. The artwork on the tiles is also visually appealing.I have taught this game to several of my friends, and all of them picked up the basics in the first five minutes. It offers high replay value.I recommend this game as an addition to your play closet.

I'm "sold" on "sellswords"
Excellent small card game. This is a great two player game that takes less than 15 minutes to play (once you understand the concepts).Game is played in two rounds. Each player drafts a card from a choice of 12 cards and drafting continues until all 12 cards are chosen, leaving each player with six cards in the round. The game has an interesting game mechanic in which your cards have attack/defense numbers on all for sides. The player card rotate the card in any direction to make the card most beneficial for their turn or future turns.Additionally, there are just 50 cards (no including special terrain cards) that are all completely different, no two card is the same, making each game unique. The cards are the same on each side, except one sides background color is blue and the other red to designate each side. When you play a card you use your cards ability and compare adjacent card attack/defense numbers and if your card wins you flip the opponents card or cards over to your side, something like the old Othello disk game. What also makes this little game "big" is that each card has its own special ability which is activated once played making a card that seems easy to defeat, strong with its special ability. This makes you think about which card you should pick during the drafting period i.e., do I pick a card with high attack/defense strength or this cool card that has a neat special ability -- something to think about and I like that in a game. After each of the two rounds you score and the one with the most points wins. Simple, but some thinking involved, but not to where one would get analysis paralysis. All over a really neat and different game. Great filler game.

Well.. really a 3.5. Full review below.
Sellswords is a good tile placement, light strategy game for two players. It is easy enough for light gamers to like it and has enough depth to have heavy gamers like it as well. For a full review check out:https://theclichedtavern.wordpress.com/2015/08/12/review-sellswords/

Overpriced, but excellent game
Fantastic 2-player game that we both really loved! The art is cute, and sort of reminded me of video games I played as a kid, so that was really fun. It does take time to look at the special powers for each character and sort out what to do on your turn, but we just spent a few minutes reading each one before each round (we actually enjoyed reading them together).Overall, I highly recommend this game for something simple to play when you're not in the mood for a heavy-thinking game or as a portable game to bring along to a restaurant, etc.On a side note- my rating is STRICTLY for the game, which I give 5 stars... HOWEVER, it's seriously overpriced for what you get, yikes. Seriously, it should be 10 bucks :(

Poor Production Quality
Product arrived with shrink wrapped cards warped from packaging. Had amazon replace it only to have same issue. Returned both copies as the primary concept of the game is flipping cards and having bowed cards was undesirable to me.Would have gladly payed a few bucks more for sturdier cards or even tiles.

Play Yggdrasil first. Really good game.
So much fun! There is a slight learning curve but after 1 game you will get the hang of it. The directions are very handy and need to be referenced a lot at first. I would HIGHLY recommend playing the Yggdrasil tile/ mode first! It's perfect for new players and allows you to see every tile in one game.

One of our favorite games. Comes in a small box so it is very portable. Simple gameplay to teach but rewards strategies for both drafting and playing cards. I appreciate there are several different starting tiles that completely change key rules in the game for different experiences.

Fun, quick game
I have played this game multiple times with my wife and parents. It is a fun, quick game that is simple to teach, but has tons of strategy. This is a great filler and recommend you would buy it now!
