First, it’s in no sense a wallet. It’s 2 separate pieces of what I’ll take their word for is carbon fiber. You put credit cards, drivers license or Costco membership card between the 2 carbon pieces that are supposed to keep crooks from reading the RFID chip on many cards we carry. Then you use one of the tight but stretchy belts that hold everything together. A separate money clip along with extra bands are included.I bought this for 3 reasons:1. It protects my RFID cards2. It was way cheaper than the one I kept seeing advertised3. I recently lost 3 wallets and I’m hoping this unique device in some way helps.I’m happy with it, but like the Christmas I sent fruit cakes, I doubt I’d gives these as gifts (those fruit cakes still come up in conversations and evoke laughter). We’ll see how it works out in the coming months – provided I don’t lose it.UPDATEIt’s been about 4 months since I bought it on June 6, 2019 and one carbon fiber piece is gone. Of course it still works, but one could make their own with some tin foil and a rubber band. It doesn’t protect or make finding the cards easy, and unraveling the wad of bills and cards has made me switch to ApplePay. I’m going to buy a “vintage” wallet soon. I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or give on as a gift. 2 stars because it’s at least it’s quite a conversation piece.Another UPDATEIt’s been a few months since I stopped using this product. I purchased a small bifold leather TUMI wallet and appreciate not taking it apart then putting it together whenever I showed my licence or used a credit card or cash. I’m grateful I learned this at a relatively low cost. To test this concept before buying, place your cards, cash and license between 2 playing cards held together with a rubber band.

After the third time of standing in line and then trying to fish through my cards for the specific one I wanted, or my ID, I realized this isn't going to do it for me.It might be ideal for someone who has like 3 or 4 cards, but any more than that and you're just holding up the line.Without some sort of protection, your cards will eventually get scratched up as well. I used business cards on either end to keep the shell from scraping up my cards. But they will also rub on each other as you pull them in and out, which leaves you with the same problem.If you put protectors between all of your cards you're going to quadruple its size.Not a lot of wins for this.

After getting tired of pulling cash, cards and ID out of my wallet to drop in the back pocket of my cycling jersey and then reversing the process after each ride, I made the plunge and got a "minimalist" wallet. It took some getting used to not having the overstuffed lump of leather in my back pocket, but I love how convenient it is to have just what I need and not six months worth of receipts, scraps and lottery tickets with me all the time.

Love the design. And color options to coordinate. 3 extra bands on top of the one that comes with the wallet. Plus a money clip? Phenomenal deal.My only recommendation would be to line the inside of the wallet with a thin cloth like padding to keep from cards getting potentially scratched as well as making sliding cards in and out even easier. I can’t complain though this is a great product.

I had a similar wallet with a rubber strap, this one holds the cards much tighter. Cheaper than most I ran across and comes with money clip if I'm carrying more cash - Sold!! Easily fits in front pocket, no problems. Buy with confidence.

The product comes with several bands, but I’ve only needed the one thus far. I suppose the fashion conscious could swap them to match the occasion, but it resides in my pocket most of the time, so I did not see the need. I’m saving them in case the elastic gives out.

Great little wallet. I tried about 5 over the past year and this is my favorite thus far. I have a steel one that is minimalist like this one. Similar size but this one is lighter and the elastic band is better than a money clip.

Once I got used to the minimalist design, I like it. I current carry 8 cards and can easily get the card I need. The included money clip makes it much easier to access cash separately from the cards. I particularly like having 3 additional colored bands. These will insure being able to use the wallet for a long time to come.
