Color not consistent strand to strand.
I’ve purchased these lights before and really liked them. However, I noticed that the colors weren’t always the same. I figured it was because I purchased some here and there and at different times (not 100% sure I even used the same supplier) So this time I purchased 9 sets of blue lights from the same company at the same time. That didn’t fix the problem. I now have 5 deep blue (which I prefer) and 4 lighter blue ones. If you look at the lights in the picture, the tree on the right and the one in the middle (haphazardly placed) is lighter than the other 2. It’s probably more noticeable in the sets of lights on the ground, got a couple of dark blues and a couple of lighter blues. It’s hard to tell by a picture but it’s noticeable in person. Unfortunately, even if I sent them back there isn’t a way to make sure I get the darker ones, so I’m not going to send them back. But they work good. I attach the solar panel to the tree and it seems to keep them working longer than staking in the ground. I also leave the plastic over the sensor and only remove it when he gets dirty. If you don’t mind the color variation then these work pretty good! Eventually I will get more but I can’t buy them here.

Couldn't be easier!
Last year my yard had 300 feet worth of extension cord and a few 4 way plugs laying around the yard trying to light different spots. In total I have bought 4 of these kits and setup was way less hassle. Only 50' of cord and 1-4 way plug. They are not as bright as bulbs plugged into AC power, but they are very visible at night.I do wish the lights had a timer function built in. If they only lit for 6 hours a night, a single cloudy day wouldn't have such an impact on the time that they are on. As it is, they stay on until the battery drains. If you had full sun all day, expect to get 10-12+ out of the lights. If it's a cloudy day, you may get 4 hours. Despite the cloudy day performance, the next sunny day they were on again for 12 hours that night.First impressions with the lights inside the house was the color was odd/off. In place outside, they look like Christmas lights.Tips1- Be sure to remove the film on the solar panel2- Give the lights 6 hours of solar charge before using the first time3- Check your solar panels are sitting in the best spot for 4-7 hours of direct sunlight

Warm light in the winter darkness
The lights install easily. I really appreciated the tangle-free feeding method with which they wrapped/folded the cord. Didn't have to fight the cord to straighten out.We snaked the lights through our front gate (14') and had plenty to do the top, middle, and bottom rails.Being solar, the lights' solar panel do need good sunlight to charge well. A good charge will last through the night. We had a fairly cloudy day a few days ago and the lights were off before I left for work, whereas usually they go off with the sunrise. I'd assume the solar panel is of a cheaper variety, as usually only higher end models can charge well in cloudy conditions. We haven't had any heavy rain/ice/snow yet, so I am not sure how waterproof they actually are, but so far they have held up well. The lights are not super bright. If you are expecting the same brightness as a plug-in strand, put that aside. But they do cast a nice, warm glow and are bright enough without being glaring. I didn't want them to be super bright, so I'm not docking points for that.Overall, the lights were easy to unwrap and install. The solar panel lead line has enough room to place in the ground. The light the product provides is what I was looking for.I'll try to get some pictures to add to the review, if possible (I've never tried to edit a review).

Don’t work
These lights done work. I’ve had them out in the sun hours before I wanted them to light up and they still didn’t work. Went back to the good ol faithful plug in Christmas lights!

Superior to other twinkle solar lights.
I've been a fan of solar-powered twinkle lights for years. Sure, you can hang them for the holidays, but I enjoy leaving them up and enjoying the show all year long (or 6-12 months on average.) Neighbors walking the neighborhood at night sometimes stop and complement their fun appearance. These lights are a bit better than earlier versions. They use real insulated wire resembling standard lightweight Christmas light strings with tiny peanut bulbs. Other brands use tough varnish-coated wire. The bright and cheerful lights will dress up a bush, small tree, fence, etc. Remember that you need to place the solar cell someplace where it will receive direct sunlight. My single complaint is that these solar lights are a bear to untangle. I spent a good 15 minutes growling to myself while untangling a single string. Grrrrr! Aside from that, though, this is a superior brand and I'm putting in an order for two more as soon as I post this review.

Not what I ordered
When I ordered these I ordered and buy again I had ordered two sets of lights that were supposed to be 72 feet long and they were described as fairy lights and these are 20 feet and bigger globes. Should’ve at least given me the decency of saying they change the items

Works Great, and it saves your electric bill!
In sunny Southern California, these have been a great way to sustainably and economically get into the holiday spirit. They work great but not sure if it would function if you’re from an area that has constant heavy rain. We hardly get rain, but when we finally do (for maybe a day or three), it’s pretty much rainmageddon, complete with and our streets flooding and the air becoming more or less solid rain. With that as a preface, the one time we got rain, it was one of these days, and something must have shorted. I noticed that night that the lights were off. I turned the power button on and off, and the lights would flicker for a second and then turn off. A couple days after the storm had passed and we were back to sunny and dry weather, the lights went back to functioning normally. Other than that, these work great!
