Love this dish! It’s a great size and cooks very evenly. Wish I had purchased long ago. Definitely recommend.

Beautifully Made
I bought this in the cream color and broke it in with homemade cottage pie. It performed well and also made a beautiful presentation of the casserole on the buffet table.

Performs Beautifully
This is a beautiful, work horse of a bowl. Everything I've made in it comes out better than in any other bowl I've used in the past. I make the same recipes in this bowl that I've made in a variety of other similar type bowls in the past, yet they all come out better in this bowl. It's like adding a little touch of magic to my cooking. I delighted with this purchase.

Diameter Spec is incorrect
The diameter is 9 in, not 7.9 in. Unfortunately this incorrect information is critical for me and a 9 in. one is too big for my purpose. The seller should correct this information.

Beautiful dish but very large
I have been collecting the Emile Henry baking dishes from Amazon, and so far all have been high quality. The same can be said of this soufflé dish. It’s beautiful, it is high quality, and it is huge. It is about twice the size of my other soufflé dishes. I feel like I would be cooking for a very large family, or perhaps all my neighbors. It is a little over eight inches in diameter and about three inches high. I am sceptical that a soufflé this size would rise properly. I will see when I get motivated to cook for a large gathering. Until then I will probably use for other purposes. A deep dish ple tart for instance, or a baked noodle casserole. Even use as a serving dish for a nice hot stew. My boyfriend suggests a bowl of popcorn. Yes, it is good for many things but due to the size, I will probably be using my smaller soufflé dishes most often.
