Fantastic rod, let down by a really cheap feeling spinny bit above the reel seat (I have superglued mine in place)Blank seems great quality as does the eyes. Held up well to mackerel, pollock and 30-40g spoons distance casting.I feel if the gold plastic spinny bit wasnt there the rod would feel significantly more premium.

So far so good, first fish was this 12lb pike and it coped admirably! Amazing that a rod this size and strength can fit in a back pack. Happy days 😀

I wanted a telescopic rod that would collapse to a small size, be a decent quality and cheap in price. Not likely for under £20 I thought but took the chance and ordered the 7'9" extended length rod. Did not order the reel as I already had a fixed spool reel to use with it. Delivered with Amazon's usual quick and efficient service. The box seemed so small for a rod to expand to full length. Delighted to say that the rod does indeed live up to its description. It was easy to expand it to its open length and lock in position, quality of build and materials look very impressive and seems to be strong and capable for its intended use. It retracts easily after use and my own reel fitted perfectly. At a closed length of only 17 inches this rod delivers everything I hoped for.

So far so good.....very sturdy and actually for the money very well made.....collapses down to a nice small size so easy to store in the car or elsewhere. Nice action and fires a weight a good distance. Excellent purchase and would buy another.

I bought a Shimano xtc for 90 quid which snapped first use. This one casts just as far and feels more robust. It's a cheap and cheerful Tele but it's worth every penny. Casts 25g bass lures well. Packs down. Has a weird spinny bit above that handle which annoys but I'll glue that down. For 18 quid I can't complain...

This is my first ever fishing rod, I didn't wanna go mad and thought this was a good mid priced rod. It looks great!! The carbon fibre and the gold together, all I need now is a gold reel to compliment and put it to some use in a couple weeks. Also seems to have a very good flex!!

Already own one of these - this is the second - good product and at good price.

Absolutely 💯 perfect for a spot impromptu fishing. Good little compact rod with many options of fish to go for. Good all round rod. Oerfect to keep in the car
