Cut my hair drying time in half!!
The hair dryer is a little heavy but it is a fantastic, quality hair dryer. The diffuser is larger than most and it dries my hair in half the time of my old dryer. My daughter has super thick hair and it dried her hair pretty fast as well. The diffuser does get pretty hot to the touch but it works very well. It is very easy to switch from hot to cool. The color and quality make you feel like you are using a super expensive dryer!

Amazing blow dryer for lazy waves to curlier hair!
I have 2a-2b waves in my hair and have always dreaded washing my hair in the mornings because when I let it air dry...all I get is puff and inconsistent waves that are uncontrollable. I just look like one big poofy mess. I have bought other hair dryers before with diffusers but they were always expensive or the diffuser itself didn't hold that much hair. Enter the conair texture hairdryer...my god thing thing was a game changer for me!! There's honestly not much I can complain about given that the price is amazing, the results were amazing, the diffuser is generously sized and the heat and results were impressive. I am so glad I didn't blow another $150 for those fancy so called salon hair-dryers! I liked the fact that it had a good amount of settings so that I could keep adjusting as needed. My hair dried quick and not frizzy...I mean what else can you ask for?? If I had to be nit picky about anything, it would probably be the location of the buttons on the handle...when I did grab too hard, I did accidently press on the buttons and changed the settings unintentionally but it's such a miniscule problem that it doesn't even bother me. Great value for the money and Highly recommend!

Great for curly hair, but poor attachment design
Works great for diffusing curly hair, diffuser attachment is large enough to accommodate long hair. Only complaint is because attachment is large and heavy it is easy to come off the dryer when set down, the clips inside to attach to dryer break really easy, causing the attachment to not connect properly. Had to use electrical tape to connect the diffuser attachment to hair dryer!

Awesome dryer and diffuser!!!
I have curly/wavy hair and other diffusers blow too hard and cause frizz. This hair dryer and diffuser are amazing. I am so glad a I bought it. The diffuser is built to keep the blowing air inside the diffuser thereby not making my hair frizzy. It seemed to dry faster too even though I used the medium setting. I used it to straighten my hair also without the diffuser and it worked well for that too. I will be retiring my old dryer and replacing it with this one exclusively. I did struggle a bit to get the diffuser attachment on it, but once I got it on all was good. I highly recommend this dryer and diffuser for curly/wavy hair!!!

Diffuser and Blow Dryer
I loved this product so much! It’s so perfect for a variety of things. Blow drying , and even diffusing! And it has an amazing heat setting with hot , warm and even cold air! It’s so easy to use. And it comes with amazing attachments to help your get all of your hair! And it takes so fast.

Quieter than my last one, hair not as fuzzy
I don’t know if my last hair dryer was just crappy or what, but this one is quieter and seems to work better. I use it on low and it has enough power to dry my hair well, whereas my last one I had to keep it on high if I didn’t want to be standing there for 15 minutes. My hair doesn’t seem as fuzzy as before too. I do accidentally hit the buttons sometimes with my fingers while I’m using it, but mainly switch it from hot to warm on accident. I’d recommend it, especially if you’ve had the same hair dryer for a decade and need to upgrade like I did!

If you diffuse, you must refuse!
Who knew that buying a new hairdryer with a diffuser would be so complicated!!I did a ton of research. I chose this one because I was intrigued by the large diffuser - it's the biggest one I've ever seen! I figured I would pile all my hair into the giant bowl and it would be amazing! And they said the venting in the back is some fancy new design technology - and I can't resist Science!Alas, there are some major problems with the diffuser:1. The diffuser has giant vent holes. Why is this a problem? Because it doesn't really diffuse the air! It's basically just blowing air through the giant venting, as if you didn't even HAVE a diffuser. The purpose of a diffuser is to DIFFUSE the air so it doesn't blow full blast on your curls. It is supposed to provide gentler air flow to dry your hair and diffuse the strong air flow that can destroy the curls and create frizz. But the holes aren't small enough to actually diffuse the air.2. The diffuser has the giant venting holes on the BACK of the diffuser as well (like at the bottom of the "bowl"). Other diffusers are solid in the back. Wanna know why? Because otherwise all the air escapes out the back before it gets to your hair! This means it takes much longer to actually dry your hair because half of the air is shooting out the back. It makes no sense. (I honestly would like to know their rationale for this fancy new design...)3. This is the worst part: It actually causes more frizz!! If you place the diffuser at the nape of your neck, the air that escapes through the vents in the back blows air all over your curls. Goodbye curls, hello frizz. For reference, I have somewhat fine, wavy curls. Shoulder length (not a ton of hair). Maybe this whole design would be okay for another type of hair (I can't imagine who. But maybe). Also, to be fair - I only bought this particular hair dryer because of the fancy new diffuser (and because the hair dryer itself met all my other requirements, based on my research). The hair dryer unit is fine. In fact, I thought about just buying an alternative (normal!) diffuser that is compatible with the hair dryer, but I ended up just giving it away to someone (who doesn't have curls and doesn't need a diffuser). Anyway, here is what I can tell you about it:1. It is longer than most hair dryers. The implication is that if you hold the dryer away from your head (which you kind of have to do when you are diffuse-drying your hair), your arm is farther away. Not a huge deal but it makes it kind of awkward.2. It's kind of heavy, compared to other hairdryers. I know this because I currently have six hair dryers in my house (long story). You probably wouldn't notice unless you had six hair dryers in your house to compare it to. But, the weight combined with the awkward position of holding it farther away from your head can cause discomfort. Especially if you have literally no upper body strength, like me.3. It didn't run super hot, which I appreciated. The Low, Medium, High heat is accurate (unlike some dryers where Medium is hot and Hot is scalding). This is a big plus, and another endorsement of the hair dryer itself. In summary: If you diffuse, you must refuse. But if you just want decent hair dryer, then go for it.
