UPDATE: I have been in contact with Victagen. They have been extremely helpful in resolving the mount breakage issues. They are sending out a different light for replacement. They are currently working on an updated version of the mount that will be more resilient.One thing is for sure, Victagen cares about their products and their customers. They stand behind what they build and will make things right.Original review below:The light itself is amazing. The mount breaks too easily. Both of the ones I received snapped in the very same place. The first one lasted a couple of months and broke while riding on rough roads. The second one just snapped when I wasn't using my bike at all. I rode one time. I walked by my bike and noticed the light just hanging there.The clamp design is nice but it's execution is flawed. If it were made of aluminum or carbon fiber, it would be much better. I would definitely pay the extra cost if the material was improved.

The mounts and the light are junk , had the light and the mount less then a month ,mount broke , company sent out a replacement ,about a month later , light stopped working , company sent a new light with a new mount , a few months later mount broke again , had a spare one from the first broken light , that mount broke within a week and the light wouldn't charge anymore , it's a shame because I like the brightness of the light but the light just wasn't reliable and the mounts are junk!!

I bought this to replace a broken mount from another manufacturer after I wiped out on my escooter.The pics above are of the light bottom I needed to attach it to and the OEM mount. I was a little nervous the mount wouldn’t fit, but it was a perfect match!The mount went on easy as can be and I am back to having great night time visibility.I reccomend this is you have a slide in mount similar to the pics you need a replacement for.

It works as designed though if dropped it may break as mine did.

Put thread lock on all the screw!
