Bad Design. Overall not worth it.
This circle template will get the job done adequately enough, but it definitely is not the best option out there.PROS:The crosshair tick marks around each circle seem to be well-aligned.Circle diameters are marked in fractional inches, decimal inches, and millimeters.Fair range of small to medium sized circles.CONS:The little dimples that are punched into the template which are intended to slightly raise the template off the paper you're working on are inconsistent, and generally too pronounced. What this causes is a template that does not sit flat on the surface you're working on. In addition to that, because the template is raised too high off the paper underneath, it makes for a less precise placement of the drawn circle. Finally, the plastic material is pretty cheap and floppy, especially for the price point.Other Thoughts:Where are the good drafting tools they used to produce decades ago?

Great for cleaning up isometric sketches
There is no mystery to this sort of template. All the current manufacturers follow the same pattern and they all work well. This is no exception. This one has the little nibs to keep it off the paper, so you can ink with this template, without making a huge smudge. The plastic is tinted green and has a texture on one side, so it is 'easy on the eyes.' The ellipses have alignment markings, so you can orient the ellipse to the major and minor axes. In short, it does exactly what it advertises it does.Definitely a recommended buy, if you work in isometric perspective and need nice, clean ellipses.

Circles are always good....
Most of the stores I've been to only have up to 2" circle templates. These 3s are great, need even larger though. Now all I need are templates for dedicated squares, rectangles, and triangles. Thanks for timely shipping and perfect condition.

Great quality - very sturdy
This product offers many options for ellipses and has multiple registration marks for repeatability. It is very easy to use and has come in hand many times in my woodworking shop.

I love this template
I love this template, especially since it's tinted and not CLEAR like a lot of other templates and French Curves on the market.
