Sucanat Sugar - 3 Lb Tub

My boyfriend and I are trying to keep our sugar intake down. We are doing several things including eliminating some sugars and replacing other sugars with healthier options and this is one of our favorites. It has a good flavor and doesn't seem to spike the blood sugar as much. The golden color does affect the color of your dessert. I'm just throwing in the word butterscotch or caramel or something like that so that my friends think it's supposed to be that color. No one knows I have been subbing out for white sugar. A really good product that I will continue to buy.

This is organic sugar that does not affect blood sugar level. It's expensive when use in quantity but it's worth it for me, personally.

This is my second order from this company. The product is good. Sucanet is a sugar that is not as refined at white sugar and has fewer calories. It can be substituted 1: 1 for table sugar. It works well in most recipes, Since it is coarser than table sugar it may have a gritty feel. This can be alleviated by grinding the sucanet in a spice grinder, or if combining with wet ingredients it helps to let the mixture rest about 30 minutes before baking. The service from this company is good, and the product arrived intact, and on time.

Did not taste any different to regular, granulated sugar.

Tastes great! Good quality. Just a bit expensive.

I bought this for a single specific recipe, but have been using it to replace normal brown sugar in most baking recipes (1:1) for a less sweet result (which I love). Great amount for the price—would buy again.

😞 I just received this sweeter. When I first looked at it online I saw Cane Juice & Molasses. Once I received it I looked at the label again and I saw that it is packaged in a facility with Peanuts, Soybean, Tree Nuts, Milk, Egg, & Wheat ingredients. I was Soooo 😞 disappointed. They can't accept it back even if you didn't open it. I always read the labels I don't know why I didn't see that before. Anyway because of the Soy bean, Peanuts & Wheat ingredients, I can't consume this stuff. So a complete waste of money for me. Lesson learned to read more carefully, or stop buying food products online.
