Merrell Men's Jungle Moc Waterproof Slip-On Shoe

A good fitting slip on for wet and snowy days
I purchased a pair of these to use during the winter and on rainy days. No snow yet this season, so all I've done is wear them on a few rainy days. They were as advertised water proof or at least water resistant, my feet stayed dry whereas with running shoes they would surely have been pretty wet. They are, as you might expect, very easy to put on and take off at the door on your way out.Besides that, they are a good fit for me. Just a bit tight, which is useful in a slip on so that they don't slip off when you need them. They are generally very comfortable. I've only worn them on a few walks of a couple of miles or so, but they were fine for that distance. Traction is quite good on a trail with a bit of mud, and especially good for walking up hills. My only concern is the heel which is a bit hard for my tastes--I'd like a bit more cushioning there if I had a magic wand. Overall a nice shoe at a very good price.

Dress up or down with these everyday shoes
They look great with nicer clothes, they feel great on long walks, and they last a good while. Definitely recommend.

Best damn casual hiking driving shoes I've ever found and considering my dress shoes cost $850 each
I want a pair of Merrell's in 1994 and they lasted all the way up until about 20 11 or 2012 until my wife's little dog decided to use them as chews chew toys although I still wear that pair around the house kind of of like slippers and I had looked for these and hadn't been able to find them I even looked on Amazon and I couldn't find them and then one day they just popped up so of course I bought a pair of black Jungle Moc water resistant and although they seemed a bit tight at first they do tend to break in now I don't know it's a little spandex things on the corners are being stretched too far because my last pair was a pair of 13 C's or 12 which is what I always wear but as I remember when I was purchasing them all those years ago I got a pair of 11s and I got a pair of 13s so I think that's how I ended up with a pair of 13 cuz I've never worn those in my life but these may run small but they will they will break in and extremely comfortable and they also have great arch support heel support and I don't know how to explain this they have hearts that will going to push up into your foot but if you talk to a podiatrist foot doctor they say these are good because there are so many nerves and everything in your feet and it actually makes them feel better which makes your entire body feel better it makes a lot more sense when he says it I recommend recommend you to anyone and I will be buying a pair of Jungle Moc non water resistant ones for the summer since they breathe better than these do I mean you can't have it both ways if they're going to be waterproof you're not going to breathe very well and there's no reason to ruin or not be able to wear your favorite casual shoe if it's raining and I can tell you my biggest concern when I bought black first pair was that the rubber would come off you know because it comes up on the front of the toe and that has never been the case I just can't say enough good things about this manufacturer in the shoe thank you Merrell for such a fine product

Fits better now, very hard sole
After I initially received these I wrote "slip-on" is too mistaken for 'easy to put on' - these are not easy to put on. That was certainly the case when these were new and I had a gym sock on. In those early days the top of my foot would be in pain from pressure are well. However after about a week and then wearing with dress sock I can say these fit very well. I was most impressed when I wore these in a horrendous night of rain where these shoes spent a good number of seconds with water coming over the toes- and they remained waterproof. Very impressive. I am still not a fan of the soles and that is the only reason for not giving five stars. When walking the soles feel they are very narrow. I feel I am walking on a narrow beam and they also have a very solid feel near zero spring in the step, not friendly for sidewalk or road walking but maybe that was not the intent. Like those who buy 4x4's and never leave the pavement but perfectly good if you walk "off-road".

Perfect waterproof walking/hiking shoes
I walk a tremendous amount every week, on sidewalks as well as grass/mud/sand, and after trying half a dozen pairs of walking shoes over the last year I've finally found the perfect pair. These shoes are rugged but very comfortable. The soles are stiff like hiking boots, and the shoes are very padded and easy to wear for a long time. The best part is that they really are waterproof! I've been disappointed by a lot of shoes that are advertised as waterproof but they really aren't. I've worn these for a few months now through wet grass and mud and puddles, and my feet have remained 100% dry. They felt a little tight at first but quickly got broken in and are the indeed the correct size for what I normally wear. One note, the suede-like texture makes things stick to these shoes very easily; grass, dirt, mud, etc. Not a bother for me at all, and they're easy to clean off with a brush once they're dry. I just bought myself a second pair.

Most Comfortable Shoes I have
These have replaced my so called "walking shoes," (aka tennis shoes) and are my first choice for everything else now. Though I must say, there is a bit of a dilemma. True, they are very comfortable, easy to slip on and off, waterproof, sturdy, all things good. I bought them because I wanted some slip ons without strings to tie for going outside quickly and doing things in the yard when I need to. And yes, they are great for that. The dilemma- they are suede. So its like, i hate to mess them up. I don't want to get them muddy or soaking wet. Because they are suede and look really good worn casually. Why do I want waterproof shoes that I don't want to get wet? It might ruin the suede of course! As it turns out, I have worn them in water and mud several times. They do clean up nicely. The suede changes over time, much like the suede on suede cowboy boots. It takes on a look of its own- but still looks good enough to wear anywhere you would wear jeans. All good. As for Jungle mocs? I dunno. maybe the urban jungle.

Anatomically Perfect
Every pair of Merrell's I've ever owned have been as anatomically perfect as anyone could hope for, and these are no exception. Simply put, they fit a human foot as if they were made from an actual mold of one. Add to that Merrell's built support components and grippy sole material, and these are an all-day shoe with no blisters or pain. Fantastic product!

Zapatos tipo mocasín
Los compré porque no me gustan los zapatos con agujetas, pero estos mocasines resultaron ser de suela muy dura, lo opuesto a unos Skechers.
