This will work with any cathedral port head and any LS square port head but will not work on the LS3 style offset intake on those heads. Your 2004 model is not an LS3 5.3. It is, however an LS and is a cathedral port. So yes. This will work. I use them often for on car spring swap jobs. If head is off engine, you will battle the head tipping due to pressure applied.
