Looses isolation intended, nylon gear is required.

Caution do not work
After removing the GM broken plastic gear, and installing this metal gear, putting everything back together correctly , these gears will not fold the mirror's in or out 😡, and of course I waited too long to install them, so the return window is closed. I should have just replaced them with the original GM plastic gears

Grer does not Fit
The gear is not made correctly doe not allow to mechanical part to move freely. poor specification from Manufaure.

Motor short out
This steel gear shorts out the motor . I had to buy the gear with the plastic gear . Works fine now with the plastic gear .

Caution. Damage to body control unit
2008 silver ado. If you have a metal gear, the motor will be ground and damage the body control unit. The motor has a circuit to the motor shell. The old plastic gear was the inslation
