Outstanding 120w Foldable Solar Panel
Due to the huge increases in electricity costs i decided to research solar power generation. I came across the ELECAENTA 120w foldable solar panel and decided to order the product to see how it performed. When the solar panel arrived i was immediately impressed by the overall build quality of the device. It looks and feels super premium - the fabric casing feels tough and durable and the protected solar panels equally appear extremely well made. The solar panel is 4 way foldable and collapses into a briefcase size shape. When unfolded the 4 solar panels are supported by two Velcro kickstands. I wasn't sure if these would be strong enough to hold the panel at the correct angle, but they worked just great. Set up of the solar panels takes literally seconds, unfold, place into position and plug in your USB device - voila instant free power! You even get 4 x carabiners to hang the panels from hooks. At the rear of the solar panel is a zip pocket containing a USB charger, 1 x USB A QC 3.0 and 1 x USB C. The USB C socket is a 45w PD charging output, which supports fast charging of certain devices. Also included is a bunch of DC barrel connections for various types of laptops & other DC input devices. Also included is a DC to MC4/XT60 cable, this enables you to connect the panel directly to a solar generator. The panel also has a bunch of safety feature built in such as overcharge protection and short circuit protection. The company really have thought of everything here. I was super impressed! So how did the product actually perform? Well it really did exceed my expectations - so much so i bought a second one! In full sun the solar panel was outputting around 86w into my Bluetti EB55. Connecting both of the ELECAENTA solar panels in a parallel connection (lead needs to be purchased separately) inputted around 120w of power into my generator. I appreciate that each of these panels are rated at 120w but you are never going to get the full 240w of power - there are lots of factors which may effect the solar generation of any solar panel, including the position/angle of the panel to the sun, haze in the sky, smoke, clouds etc. I have tested several different devices on the panel and all charged exceptionally well. My Samsung S22 Ultra displayed 'super fast charging', my ipad charged great, i even charged a set of NP-FP 90 batteries in a charging bank (see pictures), along with my electric toothbrush! The panels are also Monocrystalline which is a better technology than Polycrystalline, these panels also have a conversion rating of around 24% which is extremely good. The solar panels are also water resistant, although you should not allow the USB charging station at the rear to get wet. I would not be using these in damp/wet conditions anyway. In summary i think the ELECAENTA 120w solar panel is an amazing piece of kit! It's is super satisfying knowing you are getting free power from the sun! There are so many uses for this product, free home charging, off grid charging when you are camping or at the beach... the list is almost endless! I did have a small tech issue with my second panel but speaking with ELECAENTA customer support resulted in this being resolved super quickly and without issue - the after sales customer support from this company is superb! So do i recommend this product to others? Without hesitation it is a huge YES from me! Every household should have one of these solar panels - they are portable enough for you to take around with you and provide excellent fast charging capabilities - in my opinion this really is a premium product!I hope that you found my review helpful.

Free solar charging - Fantastic Product
We have had some fantastic weather here recently so I have been using this all the time. I have used it to charge all our iPhones, speakers, Fitbits, my vape & even my battery bank for when the sun goes down. I have found it's charged everything as quickly as it does when plugged into the mains power. Today the weather has turned and it's only 6 degrees & cloudy but it only requires minimum sunlight for it to work, today I have taken pictures on a cloudy day & in the first two pictures I have shown the red light that shows it is picking up solar power & in turn charging my devices. It even works inside on my office window cill. We are boaters so when boating season starts this will be absolutely fantastic as preserving our boat batteries is key it will also be great for picnics, camping, festivals, beach/pool holidays the list is endless. It does not charge my Laptop but apparently the 60W & 120W ones do. I have had no issues with any micro USB devices but with Apple products I have foud it will only work with the genuine Apple cables although this might not be true it might just be because my generic ones were really cheap ones a decent generic one may well work.

Seems impossible to get 120W in UK
This seems a well made, sturdy piece of kit with more than enough leads and adapters. It weighs more than I expected but folds well and is easy to carry with the handle. The legs are a real nuisance as one will close while you're putting the other up, it would be nice if these could be made to stay up somehow. The carabiners are a nice touch but I wouldn't fancy hanging this up on anything you'd take camping due to the weight. In my back garden in London on a partially sunny summer day I'm getting anything from 15-45W charge depending on clouds according to the portable power station. Left out most of the day just facing up (I appreciate not ideal but didn't have time or space to keep moving it) it fully charged the 250Wh power pack over 2 decent July days (not 2 hours as I might hope). The most I've ever had was 63W in full sun 35° heat in mid August in Oxfordshire at around 1-2pm with it angled to face the sun - which is a bit disappointing given how strong the sun felt. Note: The power station will only charge max 65W from the DC input, so maybe the 63W is related to that even though it was not actually inputting 65W. But in full sun in the garden we've never had close to it before. If it gets close to 65W again I'll plug an additional device in via USB-C and update if that charges too.But it does the job and it was at least matching the 50W the coolbox was draining from the power station between 10 and 4ish, with 2 or 3 adjustments a day to face the sun, plus I'd fully charged that and some smaller power packs before our trip for free using this panel, which kept us going. Hopefully we will get some more free power out of it at home this year too, although the fact it isn't fully waterproof makes me a bit nervous of leaving it out unless we're home to rescue it from rain.Durability unknown as I've only had it a month and used a dozen times or so. Will update if any major problem. So while I'm disappointed with what power we got on an unusually sunny day for something that claims to be 120W and is huge, it's...OK. But not amazing.
