Aceele 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub (120cm lead)After plugging in the Aceele 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub to my Windows 10 PC, it was recognised immediately. I tried a couple of different memory sticks, one has music and video on and the other has some stand-alone apps. Both of these also popped up fast. Videos played smoothly without glitches and the apps loaded fast and ran without problems.I connected an external SSD drive first direct to the USB port on the PC then via the Aceele 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub to compare transfer speeds of some large files. I am pleased to say there was no discernible difference in the speed between direct connection or through the USB hub.After trying the Aceele 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub on the Windows 10 machine I tried the same sort of tests using my Macbook Pro. Results were very similar maybe even a little faster but that may be due to the more integrated nature of the Macbook.I have other USB 3 Hubs and I initially bought this because, unlike many others, it is available with a reasonably long lead. Meaning I would no longer have to clamber around the back of my PC when I need to plug in a USB 3 device. If anything I was expecting a bit of a speed penalty because of the longer lead but it performs as well as the USB hubs with a short lead.I would certainly recommend the Aceele 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with the 120cm lead, especially if like me, your USB socket is around the back of the machine.

When it arrived and I plugged it into my computer, it seem to be working fine. But the next time I tried to turn my PC on, it wouldn't boot. It would just turn on the monitors and not go further. I tried a few times to turn the computer off and on, but nothing was happening. As soon as I unplugged this device, the computer turned on.I don't know how exactly it causes the problem, but it causes a very serious problem.

I was looking for a USB hub with an SD/Micro SD card slot to transfer files from my Android box and chose this one.It really is awesome, the transfer speeds are great, it's really neat and tidy, tucks away under my pc when not in use and has a little LED light so I know its connected.Its more than I needed but so glad I got it, I'm really pleased, great purchase, highly recommended.

So many of these ports have such short leads, but this really does the job.Plenty of ports , good lead length.My only gripe is it would be nice if one side had some sort of rubber pad, just to stop it wandering all over the place

This hub has a reasonable length of connecting cable with a Velcro style tie on it. So far it works well with a couple of hard drives and a keyboard connecting through it. Drive transfer speeds have been reasonable at 17Mb/s.
