Cuts well on Cricut Joy, transfers nicely with an iron and very reasonably priced
This was my first experience with HTV and I was pretty impressed as it was easier than expected and came out really well, even with some quite small details. I've used both the pink and white versions and they were slightly different, which is why I've taken one star away. The pink is very difficult to weed as it seems to be held onto the transfer paper much harder than the white which peels away almost too easily. The advantage with the pink is that you don't accidentally lift away fine details so I actually prefer it, despite the difficulty. The pink also seems to require more heat than the white which as I used the pink one first meant I messed up the first white transfer I did and overheated it.The only other downside is that they are delivered in quite a tightly wrapped roll which is difficult to flatten out and requires taping down around the edges to stop it peeling away from the mat while cutting.Having said that, once you've had a bit of practice, things come out really well. If you're just using an iron, I got better results sliding a sheet of wood inside the garment rather than using an ironing board. The heat softens the vinyl (obviously) and ripples the transfer layer a bit which ends up pushing the transfer down unevenly when done on a padded surface. My only other tip is to let it cool down before attempting to peel the transfer layer away which will ensure the design remains stuck to the fabric, especially around the edges.I only have a Cricut Joy so have to cut the roll into strips that will fit but with the standard mat and selecting "Iron-On" from the pre-configured materials I haven't had any issues with the cutting. If I need any other colours in the future this is the brand I'll be going for.
