VeloChampion EVA Handlebar Tape with Bar End Plugs - Wrap in Black

I put this handle bar tape on my Dad's old 1980s BSA racer. It's always had a very thin foam cover over the metal bars which meant it was really uncomfortable on long journeys. I've now added this new bar tape. Amazing! The handle bars now feel as good as my brand new Giant Defy 4 racer. So much more comfortable and you can get a better grip too. The bar ends fit into the slots easily. The amount of tape is just right too. Great adhesion and looks really smart. Very easy to fit.I will highly recommend his product.

I'm not sure what I expected having never used handlebar tape before but what I got was a soft black foam. The tape is soft enough to make me worry about its longevity. Having said that, I've been using the tape for a month and a half now, riding 20+ miles a day 5 days a week, and the tape is still held fast on the bars and still looks good. There are some minor nicks here and there but they don't seem to be getting any worse. The bar end plugs are mirrored plastic, and will get scratched up when you're leaning your bike up against a wall or whatever. Mine still look ok though.There is no glue on this tape so make sure you use a lot of tension when you're installing it. I can't comment on the length supplied because I wrapped short bars. You'll need extra electrical tape to wrap the ends because the included bits will only go round your bars once. The bar ends do a good job. This was my first bar tape job and I didn't find it too hard, so the tape doesn't seem to be difficult to apply. I did have to rewrap a few times to get the overlaps consistent, but that wasn't a problem, the tape stretched back to almost its original length and I just tried again.I wrapped one layer on my bars and it feels a little thin. It took some getting used to to start with, and it's a little uncomfortable on longer rides, say 15 miles plus. Two layers would be advisable for those with larger hands.Overall, this is decent bar tape for the £5 I paid. Even if it only lasts another few weeks I'll feel like I've got my money's worth. Next time I'll probably get something more expensive though.

Turned up as promised the day after ordering. Purchased for my road bike, never changed tape before, but this was perfect and took 5 minutes, exact length required. Comfatable and looks great.

Really good quality and very easy to put on.

Quite thick and not as stretchy as other cork tapes I have used. Also the pack did not contain spare short strips for covering the back of the shifters but this wasn't a problem as both reels were long enough to cut a piece from each

Did a bit of research and for the cost and adhesion this was a good bet. Arrived quickly. The only grip I have are the two pieces of finishing tape, it keeps peeling away. The actual grip itself though no issues, full control of my drop handle bars.

tape itself is excellent, very comfortable. but the sticky tape for holding the ends is terrible. lost its stick after about 2 hours. would recommend buying some electrical tape instead

Pretty good tape for the price. Easy to put on and has lasted well so far. End caps are a bit plasticy, but what do you expect?

Era la primera vez que ponía una cinta de este tipo, la puse fácil, queda mullido y cómodo y parece que dura. La uso a diario para ir y volver del trabajo. Barato y recomendable (6'95€). Habrá mejores pero más caras.A mi, está me vale.

Rapport qualité prix correct..il y a mieux c'est sur mais c'est plus cher..

This bar tape went on easily and is holding up very well. I put a lot of miles on my bike and so far it is comfortable and durable. No risk in this purchase.

just used it to replace old grips on a rollator walker and it worked great!!! the included tape is not effective, electrical tape is much better but otherwise the foam is thick supportive and was easy to use. did not need to use the handlebar plug either.foam is thick, non adhesive , soft and supportive. only needed to use one roll for both handlebars.
