Sergio, together with his wife Mariza, has been growing specialty coffees there for the last 25 years when they inherited the farm from Mariza's father. Planalto's 3,600-foot altitude and the surrounding natural forest, contribute to the farm's unique microclimate, which is perfect for growing high-quality coffee.
