The hoses are about half a cm internal diameter and everything goes together snuggly - except the green tube. It is just too small for an airtight seal. I sured it up with some sugaru so I can still wash it after use but some tape or blue tack would do the trick.Because of the locations of the tubes I was worried bugs could just walk up the corner and out the tube but they don't seem to do that.You can suck to trap bugs and blow to pelt them back out. I'm using it to dispense fruitflies into spider enclosures. My escapes have gone down to 0.

I love this cuz I use isopods in my tarantula vivarium and they can grow in numbers so being able to suck a load up helps but tube was damaged

with there was a rectangular one for photography, I occasionally lose the little blighters when transferring them.

I recently got jumping spiders and praying mantis and have to feed them flies.. well I always have escapees!!!! My trusty pooter has become one of my fav kit to capture said escapees!

Works but plastic is stiff and hard to undo.

This is ideal for young children to go bug hunting with.

Perfect to catch my Flightless fruit flies to feed to my mantis and spiderling.

Even when the tubes are seated as well as possible the power of the suction is very poor and incapable of sucking up anything of any size. Very disappointing.
