The lids are rubber, and absorb debris that is hard to get offm despite scrubbing and soaking. The creases on underside of lids, make them very hard to clean and they are unsanitary when they build up debris. Are some cleaning tools available, a different design or material for the lids? I did come up with some of my own, but it took some time. Suggestions?

Jug arrived and box was previously opened and resealed, I'm pretty sure it was a return,1st time i used it blade was not spinning at all, found out the nut securing it had not been fully tightened, and blade was just freely spinning like a plane propeller, so I added a new stainless steel lock washer and tightened the nut up, so far its working. Blade has a round hole in the middle which sits on the square drive shaft, should have had a square whole in the blade to prevent spinning.Well this jug has finally been re designed after I bought 2 previous versions at a much higher price and only for the jug itself not the complete jug assembly which is what this is, new lid, jug and blade assembly for a not bad price., getting about 3 years out of each of my old ones, old jug handles cracked in several places, will see how this new improved version stands up.
