This is NOT 24 inches....It's 20.25 inches!!!
Beautiful and nice quality, but a full 3 inches shorter than advertised. The overall length including the bases isless than 24 inches. When I read the description it said 24.7....that's the size of the box...If you are OK with a 20.25 inch towel bar, go ahead and order, otherwise...take a pass on this one...

Defective!
This product was defective. I waited to hang it up as a towel rack and found that it was not square. One of the end of the towel rack that was supposed to attach to the wall was not straight so that one end could be fastened flush to the wall and the other end was not flush so you could not affix it properly. I did not realize this until just a week or so ago when I tried to attach it. Now it is too late to return it so I am disgusted.

No hardware
The product didn’t come with screws or colloidal (not sure what that is but it was in the instructions). It’s a nice bar but I had to go dig up stuff to put it up.
