Each 36-page issue of High Five Bilingüe has read-along stories, poems, puzzles and crafts — in both English and Spanish — that set young children ages 2 to 6 on the path toward lifelong learning and language proficiency. With content appropriate for beginning readers, as well as for children and adults just learning Spanish or English, High Five Bilingüe engages little ones and makes them excited to learn and practice vocabulary.

Great to have for 3 Years. Cancel after that.
This magazine is perfect for those looking for bilingual magazines for their child or students. But unfortunately, I canceled my subscription after 3 years because they reuse the same issues after 3 years. From what I can tell, the issues are the exact same thing in the same order but with different years. For example, the July 2017 magazine is the exact same as July 2020. Other than that, the magazines is great with its short stories and activities.

Highlights High Five Bilingue a big hit with my grandchildren.
My grandchildren love this magazine, and so do their parents. It is especially easy to use with children who speak either or both English and Spanish.

A great magazine for my bilingual grandchildren.
I like that this is a bilingual magazine and wish more children magazines were bilingual. What I did not like is the renewal email was confusing. I was sent an email six months before the expiration. I renewed because the price was less. Then a month before the expiration, I received another email saying it was time to renew. This should get corrected.

This is exactly what we wanted
The level of Spanish is perfect for beginners and I love the bilingual aspect of it. Just flip some pages and see both languages. It helps with understanding usage and idioms in addition to vocabulary and grammar.

It repeats and is maybe 20 pages in each magazine
Half of the magazine is in spanish and the other in english. Each magazine is around 30 pages long. For me it’s not worth it but your mileage may vary. A subscription for $40 plus taxes for a magazine that keeps reusing the same stories, poems, and activities is not worth it. We will just borrow them from the library.

It's a Highlights magazine, they are perfect. The kids love to read the stories and solve the puzzles. This is something I consider an investment, and I am happy I made it.
