The BEST 16" monitor money can buy (2025), The King
I have 6 different portable monitors. This is the BEST in all categories:Quality: this is solid metal, solid glass, magnetsPicture Quality: glass clear picture (2.4k 120hz 400nits)Ports: ports are easy to access, clever that they are in standDesign: the flip action is best in class, amazing! the built in stand amazing, the base for stand is magnet onto backHeight: the stand and base can make this so tall that it will be vertical over my macbook proCost: the most expensive on the market, and you get the best quality of any competitor, trust me I knowThis is slim, light, gorgeous display to look at with the bezel being equal on all sides. When it comes to design, function, and quality this is the king of portal monitors. I know this is expensive but I'm in love and I might purchase another so I can cuddle it in bed at night.

Nice every day companion
This is a great little monitor. I also have a Vision Owl 18” kickstand monitor but this one goes everywhere with me. With the included (albeit minimal) sleeve, it fits perfectly in my ‘smallish’ Aer City Pack 14l backpack laptop sleeve. Despite being bigger then my 12.9” iPad, it is less noticeable due to its light weight. As a result I can take it everywhere along with a mouse and have a quasi productive desktop setup everywhere I go. You know what they say, the best external monitor is the one you have with you and because of that this gets the grade over the 18” minute I have which is strictly a carry on bag monitor at this point. Now is it worth the premium over similar size monitors 1/3 to 1/5 the expense? That’s a tough call. For business productivity, I’d say a resounding yes. I just can’t work effectively on my 14” laptop when traveling beyond email and PowerPoint. For personal use, it’s a $500 luxury that I likely would have passed on had I not been looking for a travel solution. $300 would have been a sweet spot. What I like about this over the cheaper solutions is build quality and thoughtfulness. Its got a sleek simple design that’s clean, includes a low profile magnetic stand that provides the necessary visual height (vs an kickstand), and it’s got pass through USB power which allows gives me flexibility with my limited ports. And oh, btw I use this on a Chromebook. Yup! A Chromebook!!

Well designed, thin, bright and durable.
I purchased three of these as a part of travel work set up (with a Mac mini pro) and blown away by the quality. The stand fold flat and magnetize to the back of screen. Easy rotation and extension. Connections are secure. This is a very deliberately designed and executed product. Brightness is best in class (I’ve used many comparable monitors), connections are stable and the UI is intuitive. If you told me this was an Apple OEM product, I’d believe you.I very rarely review products and have no relationship with the seller, but felt compelled to review as I’d very much like to see more from this company!

High-Quality Portable Monitor with Minor Drawbacks
I was very impressed by the overall build quality of this portable monitor—it feels sturdy and durable, and the screen clarity is excellent. It’s definitely a premium product, and you can tell just by handling it.One issue I encountered was with the default resolution: the text appeared way too small, making it uncomfortable to work for extended periods. Adjusting the resolution helped with readability, but unfortunately, that led to a noticeable drop in image quality. I eventually found a third-party app that offered more resolution options, and after some tweaking, I found the right one for my needs. It would be great if the manufacturer could offer a built-in way to set custom resolutions to make this process easier. The included protective case was a bit of a letdown. For the price of the monitor, I expected a higher-quality case. I’ll probably end up buying a more durable one separately to ensure better protection during travel. Also worth noting: the monitor only comes with a USB-C cable. It would be nice if it included a mini HDMI cable or a charging block to improve the experience. In conclusion, while the price is on the higher side, the excellent material quality and performance make it one of the best portable monitors I’ve tried. Just a few minor improvements could make it even better.Rating: 4.5/5

Liked the First One, So I Bought Another!
Update: 2024-02-13------------------------The monitor works very nicely with my MacBook Pro 16 and so I bought another one to replace my smaller portable monitor. The stand really is a nice touch - now if they would just hurry up and come up with the magnetic box to store the cable(s)! My Proarc Bluetooth keyboard fits nicely on one of the monitors other sides.Really like these LG monitors.------------------------The monitor is excellent and the add-on folding stand is a nice have / touch. Here comes the but...the back of monitor has two-thirds evenality (new engineering word) and one-third uneven. This makes it to where if anything goes on top of the monitor while packed, it will create a little bit of a pressure point. It would have been nice if the extra space had a magnetic aluminum case that held the cable(s).This would have been great usefulness and made the back of the monitor all even. The good news is that this can be added easily ... the bad news is that now it has to say 'manufactured in China, enhanced in America' <lol>!Very nice product.

Highest Quality Portable Monitor
This is a phenomenal monitor. Think of it as if you removed a screen from a 16" Mac Book Pro, put it on a high quality aluminum stand and voila. The perfect desktop system. The resolution is not as high as the MBP, however, for my settings taking into account readability and text size, it is absolutely 100% spot on. If you purchase this monitor, you won't be disappointed. NOTE: This Gen.2 is 120hz refresh
