Each poem was thoughtful and moving and an absolute joy to read. It touched my life at a time when I needed it most, so I could not help falling in love with Pillow Thoughts. Peppernell’s writing flows perfectly, and her poetry paints a stunning picture of life’s ups and downs. She eloquently coveys every poem—breathes life into them—and gives them a great amount of depth. These poems are the sort that readers can truly connect with, and each person’s interpretation will be different. They reach into every corner of our hearts and remind us that it is okay for us to feel—gives us a raw and vivid portrayal of what it is to be human.This is a collection that I believe most people will be able to connect with and find meaning in. Every piece is straightforward yet incredibly profound—very accessible for anyone, no matter who they are or where they are in life. I found comfort in these words as they told me that I am not alone, even when I’m feeling lonely in the midst of my troubles. These poems transcend their own simplicity to create a meaningful depiction of the most basic and universal experiences we face in our lives. The reader will find their own unique meaning depending on their personal lives, and take away what their soul is craving at that moment. I look forward to reading more of Peppernell’s work in the future.

Great poetry that had a resonating message

I have been trying to get more into poetry lately, I had always been interested so I bought this book. I have read it all, and it's AMAZING. Chefs kiss to the author, ill be getting the 2nd book soon for sure!

I loved these poems. They were so heartfelt and I could relate to them because of the messages they gave out. This was a good read.

For most of my adult life I have grown to love reading all kinds of poetry. At times I have enjoyed reading all of Shakespeare’s literature as well as great ancient and contemporary poets. While recently browsing the poetry books section on Amazon I came across this fantastic 272-page soft cover volume (Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell) of poetry and decided to purchase it.Right from the first pages I liked the way the author organized this thought-provoking collection of poems. Indeed, her thoughts flowed like a gentle stream on a fall day. She broke down her collection of poetry into the following topic areas:“If you are dreaming of someone, if you are in love, if you are heartbroken, if you are lonely, if you are sad, if you are missing someone, if you need encouragement, and other areas.I found this to be a thoughtful and heart felt poetry book many people would enjoy reading.Rating: 5 Stars. One of the best poetry books I've ever read. I cannot wait to read the remainder of the series!

Love poetry

Went through a breakup recently and this book was lifesaving. I couldn’t put it down. Super easy to read and had the best reminders/quotes/advice. HIGHLY recommend this book. Can’t wait to read more from this author

Mi novia estudia filosofía y letras inglesas. A ella siempre le ha gustado la poesía. Así que le compre este libro y le encanto demasiado y a mi también. De verdad que tiene muy buenos poemas, los dibujos están increíbles y la presentación la verdad es que es de lo mejor. La portada y la textura es algo simplemente minimalista e increíble. Lo recomiendo muchísimo !

Just love the depth, I think courtney peopernell also fall in love with the narcissist that is why words are matching, chapters are matching step wise.
