GOFILTR Electrolyte - Create Zero Sugar Ionized Water Infused with Electrolytes, Minerals & Trace Elements in Any Bottle. Made in California

I drink between 1-2 gallons of water throughout the workday and have wanted a filter for my canteen for a while now. I don’t particularly like the water source at my work, but obviously couldn’t bring my own water filter jug and was looking for a more portable option. I received my Go-Filtr just over 1 week ago and it has been perfect! It’s about the size of a roll of 100 pennies (do people still roll up 100 pennies and take them to the bank these days? Lol). I just drop it in my 24oz Contigo canteen and leave it in there throughout the day’s refills. I was a bit concerned it would move around too much, especially when the water level was low, but I actually don’t notice it any more than I would notice a cube of ice in the canteen. I am a very active person and often feel dehydrated, so I chose the electrolyte filter to help combat that issue. Additionally, I am happy they have an app to help suggest when it’s time for my next filter (2-3 months of use for the price is more than reasonable in my opinion!). Obviously it’s not exact (the app estimates refill need based on the water consumption you enter), but it will certainly be more accurate than me trying to remember when I ordered it and when it’s time for a new one! :)

It’s been about a month since I have started using the GoFiltr - Electrolyte and here are my thoughts. First pros:1. Very convenient2. Great taste3. Put their claim of “curing hangovers“ to test and was pleasantly surprised that it does work (or maybe that might have been because to suggestive influence) but either way, worked well!So why did I give it a 3 star? The only con I have found (and maybe others won’t be bothered by this as much) is that these tiny filter granules that are getting loose from inside and floating in my water after 2 weeks of use. I have a really bad gag reflex and any particle in my drink, even tiny pieces of ice make me squirm.But, given those awesome pros, I am willing to give this filter some more time before I either get completely disgusted by those loose particles or GoFiltr fixes this problem in their product.

I wanted to believe and wanted to keep using this product. I had ordered 2 of the dark filters, I used one when they first arrived and have had zero issue with it often bringing the water up to around 9.0 ph, my partner went to use the second one a couple weeks ago and said the water tasted foul, the next day she said it smelled like sulfur and rotten eggs, I didn't believe her as mine was working fine, we use the same water bottles, and the same water, my filter works normal, her filter foul rotten eggs smell, we washed her jug, used fresh bottled water dropped in the filter and half hour later the same sulfur smell and taste... I reached out to customer support with GoFiltr they were snotty with me saying their filters don't do that, asked for my amazon order number, so I provided it and it's been weeks haven't heard back from them. So I will place the filter in a bottle of water, and will send the bottle back to their HQ so they can smell the odor themselves. I really wish them the best, I wanted to keep using their product but will just spend more and buy essentia water instead. Since they only seem to respond to negative here an not through their actual customer service. is why I am posting here.

Getting enough water and getting sufficient electrolyte / mineralized water is very important to me and not something I did enough of as this often meant getting little packets of minerals and adding these myself, which I left to when I had developed a head ache. This is a perfect and easy solution. Just drop it in my water water bottle, refill and go.As I did not find it anywhere I asked the company for the mineral concentrations in the water with use of this product. The answer was:"The electrolyte concentration after 15-20 minutes in 32oz water bottle will definitely be higher than most store-bought electrolyte waters and in some cases could reach up to 320mg (total) of electrolytes per refill (mostly Magnesium, Potassium, and Calcium + trace elements: zinc, manganese, selenium, etc)."Its not a super specific answer because (my understanding) the product works as it is adjusting the ph levels and stops working as a 9 or 9.5 ph is reached. So depending on where you started ph wise, your results will vary. There is a slight taste to the water (that I personally like, as does my wife).

Ordered 4 of these filters for the whole family. First two filters never showed up and then the last two thankfully did show up in the mail. My Wife and I was excited for it until we smelled our glass bottles a few hours after we put in the filters and it smelled really bad... we tried rinsing off a couple more time but still smells rotten til now. not sure if its an error or its a normal smell.... not sure what to do.

I am a cancer patient. This has helped bring my potassium and other needed things up. Very happy.
