Effectiveness:Plugged this device in in my attic.all the bats instantly left the area.left for the day when I returned home there were several unconscious bats on the garage floor which made it easy to remove them.this product seems to do a great job in just a few hours.will likely buy another.

Does not work!!! Did absolutely nothing to stop my bat issue. They’re still in my attic vents and it seem to be even more of them now.

Had bats in my Attic and needed to get them out so I could replace the screening material on the attic vents. I plugged this unit in and put it on full strength and bats have not been back since. Highly recommend!!

This is perhaps not the most effective way of dealing with a bat problem, but it is the easiest. The sonar works, even though it will take up space outside where must people are lacking in free electrical outlets. It puts out a slight noise, like similar to a wifi router, and is an average value.

This device is basically the same as all the other ultrasonic pest repellers--similar settings, similar instructions, etc. The physical quality of the product is right at lower edge of acceptable. The speakers in the unit I got were rattling around inside because the glue used in assembling it isn't compatible with the plastic, so it simply didn't work. A couple of dabs of silicone fixed it, but I really shouldn't have to repair a product before I even use it. Overall, I'm satisfied with the functionality, but this quality is worth a fraction of the price. The best thing about this is that you can attach it to an extension cord, which makes it way more useful in spaces without a plug.

This was my lifesaver!!!! This worked so well haven’t had a bat since it was plugged in thank God!!! I can’t give this item enough stars.

Update: in the long run, this product did not work at all. It seems like the bats got used to it over time and just came back.Original review- We have a problem with bats getting under the tin on our roof. I plugged this box into the wall in our bedroom (where we have the most problems above us). Within minutes I could hear the bats rustling in the roof. In about 8 hours, I went back to look, and could see some little bits of insulation on the roof where the bats had crawled out. They are not liking it at all! Be sure to read the instructions that come with it! This was super easy to get started. Just plugged it in and pressed the buttons for the first setting I wanted. It does not seem to bother my two cats, or my dog.
