This was a great product. It showed up alive and well. I’ve since made many gallons of delicious kombucha with it.

Worked great. Turned a troubled batch around and I had sparkling kombucha within days. Great colony! Healthy Scoby.

This right here is how I was able to turn a small batch into a very aged fermented 3 gallon glass jar of kombucha to kick start my other four 1 gallon jars for me to drink on a regular basis. good stuff being brewing kombucha for about a year now that's to my purchase over a year ago

Ease of use:I have been making kombucha tea for several months and wanted to increase my productivity by purchasing 2 of the premade scoby and starter liquid sets as it’s difficult to find raw unflavored kombucha in my area to start my own. The scoby looked healthy upon arrival however there was not a lot of starter tea. Maybe MAYBE a cup. Typically I use minimum one cup, usually two. The scoby was not as large as I expected. I let all this slide because I was excited to use the product. After less than a week, my f1 had mold in both batches.As the scoby is not necessary to do your f1 but the starter tea is. This was a hopeful venture that disappointed.I will say it was packaged nicely and the scoby looked healthy. I have not had mold before and I’ve processed everything the same as normal. I can’t 100 percent state the mold was due to the product but I can’t say it wasn’t. I can state I won’t try this route again.

I was a little skeptical but let me tell you this Scoby has been great I’ve made a few batches and have even shared some Scobys with friends definitely recommend this one

Makes wonderful kombucha.

I’ve been growing kombucha for decades, however the last few years I stopped and wanted to start up again. Kombucha scoobys are very hardy and can withstand quite a lot of abuse. As long as one follows the rules of hygiene and remembering to followhygiene rules. This one - um yes it’s active , but it has taken me a long while to get it as active as I want a fresh scooby is a lot quicker . Overall good but not great , but definitely after a week it ha created a think skin and I’m sure in about 2/3 weeks I’ll have something that will be producing a fizzy kombucha from green sencha and granulated which sugar

Works great and we have tons of kombucha now. Saving a lot of money
