can be difficult to navigate but overall great scan tool
can be a little difficult to navigate through the functions at first but works great overall on multiple different manufacturers and various systems including oil life reset and brake pad reset to allow you to replace rear brakes on electronic parking brake

Simple to use OBD2 scanner
Whether reading the error codes or resetting some basic errors, this is simple enough for most people to use without training. More powerful than some of the more basic ones, (though less than a technician level) this works well out of the box after a quick charge up.

Solid quality with great performance, maintenance resets, more features and diag. then most will use
The OBD2 Scanner by THINKCAR, is a super helpful, good quality tool to help any car owner asses the level of seriousness, so they can determine the next step. Let’s take a closer look at what may or may not make this a good choice for your situation.I. Quality – This is a good quality machine that looks and feels like its sufficient for the job. The outer protection seems like it’s well suited to handle being banged around a bit during use.II. Performance – This is a great mid-level diagnostic tool that can do all the simple things with ease and even offers a higher level of diagnostic digging if your so inclined. Its designed to make it very easy to reset common maintenance lights, such as oil, brakes and TPM’s, making its so simple for at home maintenance. Its compatible with many makes and models to accommodate all the cars at your house. It’ll dig down somewhat deeply into the diagnoses world, but only about mid deep compared to the high end scanners. However, its quick and easy to use for all the things it can do.Overall, this is a great tool that provides a lot of value for people that only need a middle level of capabilities. It provides more depth than most people would even venture to go at home. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

Quality build, user friendly
This scanner is ready to use straight out of the box after charging. It is user-friendly, even for someone who isn't used to using a diagnostic scanner, but at the same time, it can be difficult to filter through the functions at first, with practice and use it gets easier. Overall, it's a great quality, nice build and quality product.

THIS is an incredible OBD scanner . . . that’s the simplest way to put it.
92/100It does it all. However . . . the down side . . . it’s seems to ALWAYS want to upgrade software every time it’s turned on. It’s WiFi connected once you set it up on your network, so it will download and install what it needs pretty easily . . . but never expect to simply use it. ALWAYS plan on 5-10 minutes of software upgrades.Believe me. I always expect modern software driven devices to need an upgrade before use, so I plugged this in, got it on the network, and updated all it’s software . . . none the less, the first time I plugged it into the truck . . . . it needed to upgrade! Now, performance. WOW! It does everything you could imagine and then some . . . . including screen grabs, data recording, etc. Definitely a pro/sumer device. I could see this being very handy in any “shade tree mechanic’s” tool box.In total honestly . . . it told me nothing about what’s wrong with my truck, but I don’t fault the device. If the OBD isn’t reporting a problem, the scanner can’t read it.Ultimately, is it worth the price? Yes

Responsive and awesome
Am I a professional mechanic? Nope.Do I dabble enough to be dangerous and to need a decent scanner? For sure. There's been numerous times when the base level OBD2 scanner isn't quite enough for my purposes, but I can't justify buying the crazy expensive professional models. This is that middle zone. It has enough functions to perform the 99% of things I'll need to do or am capable of. That's the key. Things I'm capable of. I can do quite a bit but certain functions, get into the realm of needing a professional to really understand.Pro's:1. It offers lifetime updates on the app2. It can look at 5 different system diagnostics. The basic ones don't do this.3. The screen is super responsive. Its fast and easy to use.4. Its well made. With it having a handle and a cover around it, if you drop it, it isn't going to break/shatter the screen. There's enough lip that if it lands face down, it won't hit the screen unless you drop it onto something. Thats on you.5. Supports a ton of model cars. You can download pretty much any model for scanning/usage6. It has the potential for upgrades/fixes because its android based and connects to wifiCon's. My biggest con is the reset function. You get certain resets for free that are part of the initial buy purchase. You can upgrade another model up for another covers. For specific resets within it, you only get a certain amount before you have to pay for more. When you spend more on a model like this, it should be all free. If you paid a small amount for a OBD2 dongle, then yes, you should have to pay. I'd really like to see this expanded to free resets for all when using this model. It costs nothing extra and would put this closer to the professional realm of scanners. Plus, what happens if the company goes under? Can you still get the resets? Or will you suddenly have to throw this away? The company was founded in 2018 so its fairly new. Do you want to trust they'll be around 10 years down the road when you're out of unlocks? And option would be to offer an option in the software for a set price for lifetime unlocks. Not a per unlock or yearly price. Maybe a consumer option for a lower fee for lifetime unlocks and a higher one if you're a business.Overall, its a solid scanner and is much more capable than my old one. I think it could be a 5 star device if there was the lifetime unlock option and would 100% support them and recommend them.
