Chrome book extraordinaire
Can't beat the price. With taxes $104.. best deal I've gotten on Amazon.. I know it's a glorified tablet.. but that's all I wanted it for.. download movies while traveling.. if you can still find at this price.. get it..

Good Chromebook
We have had zero issues with the Chromebook. We use it for homeschooling. I guess if I had one complaint it would be maybe the speakers could be a bit louder.

Great Secondary/Backup Device
My 2015 MacBook Pro died and I needed a replacement. I have a work Windows laptop, and a MacMini desktop. I originally thought about getting another MacBook but then I thought about the purpose of the device. I needed a device that I would use occasionally when on the go to browse, read news, email and YouTube. I found a great price on this device on Black Friday so I took the bite. I like the size of the device. It's not the thinnest but it is thin enough and light enough to be portable. The screen is not the greatest. My middle-aged eyes were having problems viewing the fonts on the Google flights page. I turned up the screen brightness and that fixed the problem. The battery life is nowhere near the 12 hours advertised. My usage was able to get me 5-6 hours but then again, I did turn up the screen brightness as I mentioned. The build quality is great for a device at this price point. This device is not the right solution for everyone so evaluate your needs and decide accordingly.

Lightweight, Great price.
I bought it for my niece and she absolutely loves it. It's primarily for school work, but she's also able to play her games and familiarize herself with typing. A great price too, and chrome OS is ideal for the little ones as it doesn't require much learning. I highly recommend it.

Painfully slow
Painfully slow, when only web browsing with a few tabs. I sorely regret this purchase. It's qlmost entirely unusable because of how slow it is which means its basically just e-waste

It's a Chromebook
I knew what I was getting into with a Chromebook, but a browser was all I needed.I needed a laptop that was affordable and can let me access Google Docs, DND Beyond & Roll20 stuff for DND sessions. This laptop is perfect. Not as fast as more modern Windows Computers, but when you go for this price as new (not refurbished) it's not bad.

Didn’t make it 2 years
We used this device for YouTube, google docs, kids’ school and email. It did what we needed it to for a great price. It came with a junky charging cord that needed to be replaced right away, but that was still under warranty. I purchased it in July ‘22 and now March ‘24 it died. It was inconvenient to wait for a new charging cord and 2 different batteries as I tried to trouble shoot it. Nothing has worked to power it on, and I am not paying asus to fix it as their warranty was less than a year.
