Large Mylar balloons are so cute! No straw was sent to blow them up, however, so you’ll need to get a straw. The colors are not exactly like the ones in the photo, but they were still good for us. If you need super specific colors, I’d pass, but again, worked well for us. A lot cheaper than anything we could get locally!

This added an “over the top” experience to my decorations, and makes it look like I know what I’m doing (I don’t). Being able to have a nice completed and matched set like this was handy. There were no issues with it upon arrival, everything was in good condition and I had no issues outside of my own creativity.

The Mylar "theme" balloons in this kit are great (bat, pumpkin, skull). They are of a similar material that you get for filling with helium and seem durable enough to last a while.The latex balloons are another story. After blowing up about 25 of the latex balloons, then coming back to it the next day, I found that a number of them had popped. Trying again, I replaced the popped ones with more balloons being careful to underfill them a little. Still, more balloons were also popped by the next day. My take away is that the latex balloons I received are just not that great. It takes a while to blow up a lot of balloons and it is discouraging when large numbers of them have to be re-done. I'll be playing a balloon replacement game every few days this year until Halloween, which is still over two weeks away as of this review date.On the plus side, I think I'll be able to reuse the Mylar theme balloons next year if I am careful with them. Another plus: my kid finds it exciting when the latex balloons pop unexpectedly.
